I am posting a non-photography related post today ( and for the next couple months to come)! For those of you that know me, you know I have struggled with what I call "tummy troubles" for many years. I have been on a mission to figure out what foods are causing me problems and making me miserable! I have been on the Paleo Diet for a couple years now. For the most part I love it; and in the beginning I thought it was the answer to all of my problems.. but more recently I have started having issues again. SO. Long story short, I am going to start a program called the Whole30. Today. Here's where you can find more info on it http://whole30.com. Basically you go very strict Paleo for 30 days (all I can eat is healthy meats and proteins, tons of veggies, fruit and healthy fats). After the month is up, and your body has had a chance to cleanse and heal, you slowly add different food groups back in to monitor how it makes you feel (like dairy, legumes, grains, etc).
I know it is going to be rough. My body will go through withdrawal-like symptoms at first. Mood swings, headaches, lethargy, etc. So please excuse to my ranting and raving about how bad I want a sandwich or a nap, or a freakin vanilla almond latte! Prepare for lots of these posts, plus food pictures, as I a terrible cook and will be doing lots of it and probably feeling very proud:)
